Totem Pole 01 at Marston Vale
It was a glorious sunny day after the past cold wet weeks! I came as a chauffeur for one of the exhibitors at the BBC's Springwatch East event at the Forest of Marston Vale near Milton Keynes and found myself at the beginning of an enjoyable day out!
I found this totem pole as one of a pair guarding the entrance to a small meandering walk around a water feature. Admiring the carvings, I then turned to the partner pole (see next page)
