Description:

The millenium show took place several times a day in the central arena of the Dome. It appreared to cover the usual boy meets girl scenario with obstacles and battles on the way. The mundaneness of the story was compensted by the amazing stage effects which fully used the three dimensions available. Not only were there large pieces of changing scenery bu the actors also spent a considerable amount of time in acrobatics in the air. The scene above has a central tower with figures on it obscured by swathes of tiny buntings coloured in greens, reds and oranges. The buntings extend from the centre out over the viewer creating the effect of an abstract leafy forest.
