The Millenium Dome was not only innovative in its design, but also in having the Recovery zone. You came out of the crush and noise of the queues into several dimly lit caverns. A peaceful background chiming synthesised melody was reflected by changing in the pastel shades of lighting. Almost like returning to the womb, you could stay for a while letting the tension flow. You left again when rested, or when the children began using the scenery as impromptu slides.
