So, as we make our way back out of the church of St Peter's, we look down the nave with its three pillars on either side marking the north and south aisles. There is more to see, as revealed in the Churchs guide, compiled by Roy Tricker with the help of others and I will not deprive you of the pleasure of discovering the church yourself. Concerts are held here throughout the year and I've been told there is a Carol Service by candlelight here at Christmas!
For those who are interested, pictures were taken with an Olympus digital camera using natural light. This meant the use of a tripod and long exposures. Some of the images, such as those of the font, pulpit and views along the church had to be compiled from layers of several different exposures due to the contrasts of deep shadows and bright lights.
