Description:Hunstanton is a pleasant seaside town with its promenade, Sealife centre, small fair and other amusements. The real gem for me however, is the North beach. You walk down along the cliff to come down on the beach (to your far right as seen here). Walking from the top of the beach you progress through soft sand until you hit the tide line. A two or three meter wide swathe of pebbles and marine debris and then you are onto the enormous sandy beach revealed by a retreating tide. A fantastic place for flying kites, building sand castles, swimming and hunting for shells. Behind you the beach leads to the town, in front you can just see the tops of the beach huts and miles of sand. |
